I joined the Board to provide expertise around equalities, safeguarding and empowerment of harder to reach groups to have a stronger voice. With a background in Health and Social Care, I took up the post of CEO at Living Options Devon (a disability user-led disability charity) ten years ago providing engagement services, advocacy, equality and access training. At strategic level, I represent service user views on Devon's Health and Wellbeing Board and am the Voluntary Sector Representative on the Devon Strategic Partnership. Being a Board member is incredibly rewarding as the organization changes so many lives for the better.ABOUT
