Devon Sports Awards 2005

The Devon Sports Awards were held at The Tiverton Hotel in May 2005 to give recognition of the achievements and successes of the many coaches, teachers and volunteers who give their time freely week in week out for the good of sport in Devon .

The award evening was a great success, hosted by Mark Tyler from ITV Westcountry a total of 26 individuals from a number of different sports were honoured for their hard work and dedication in 2004.

The awards were presented by Helen Reeves, Olympic Bronze Medallist. Listed below are the winners and those who were highly commended for each category:

All the winners were considered for the overall award of Outstanding Services to Sport in Devon. This was awarded to David Turner the winner of the Services to Sport Volunteer category.
