Title: Regional Squad Head Coach

To be part of the Saints Southwest coaching team responsible for the management and delivery of a Saints Southwest Regional Squad, maximising the opportunities for young players to reach their full potential in line with the Saints Southwest vision and philosophy.

Job roles and responsibilities
● Provide a high standard coaching to a respective age group, educating them in line with the Saints Southwest football curriculum
● To ensure that all Saints Southwest players adhere the Saints values and show a high level of respect and discipline
● To adhere to the Coaches Code of Conduct
● To assist players in setting individual short and long term goals, to create individual action plans
● To manage team attendance and parent communication via ‘Teamer’
● To complete player progress/evaluation reports at 3 stages each season (Pre/Mid/End)
● Attend at least three parents evening session per season for each individual player in the squad
● To develop and maintain a professional relationship with the parents of youngsters in the programme
● Complete CPD (Continuous Professional Development) to maintain FA Licence
● To work with Lead Coaches in the completion of a personal coach development plan in line with the Saints Southwest’s support framework
● To identify players available each weekend for matches and communicate any additional player requirements to the Lead Coach at the earliest opportunity
● To attend coach in service days as instructed by Directors/Lead Coaches
● To support the development of young players in match analysis, healthy lifestyle, diet, drug awareness and education
● To take responsibility for the care and maintenance of all age group training equipment and playing kit
● Ensure admin is carried out to Saints Southwest requirements and to specified deadlines
● To organise, plan, deliver and evaluate various session
● To assess trialists at both training and games and feedback to the Lead Coach
● To assist with the Strength & Conditioning Programme input where required at training sessions
● Actively promote and support the talent ID system
● To attend tournaments and trips when requested by the club.

● FA Youth Modules/Award, UEFA B Licence or above (desired)
