Announcing the Winners of Our Active Devon Volunteer Awards for 2023

Our judging panel met at the end of September, and we are pleased to announce the winners of our Active Devon Volunteer Awards for 2023!

This year, we received double the entries that we received last year, and it has shown us just how many people across Devon work really harThe panel of judges selecting the Active Devon Volunteer Award Winners for 2023, are sat talking whilst sat around a table in an office room. They are joined by two members of the Active Devon team. The panel members sat around the table include Tom Coulthard - CEO, VOYC, David Feindouno - Founder and Chair of Plymouth Hope Charity, Hannah McDonald - National Partnerships Manager for Sport England, Pete Ferlie - Active in Later Life Manager for Age UK Devon and Karen Nolan - Chief Officer for West Devon CVS and Partner Chief Officer for Devon Voluntary Action.d in an unpaid capacity to encourage people in their communities to be more active.

We’d like to recognise everyone who was nominated and those who took the time to complete the nomination form – your tireless work really makes a difference to the health and wellbeing of others.

Everyone who was nominated will receive a certificate from us and we will be visiting those who have won in the coming months to capture and share their stories.
