Active Devon is collaborating with Iridescent Ideas CIC to deliver a bespoke workshop on diversifying income. This workshop is offered as part of the ‘Sustain and Build Your Physical Activity Offer’ programme which is a partnership between Active Devon and Iridescent Ideas CIC.
Iridescent Ideas CIC is a Plymouth based organisation which has established a strong reputation for delivery of high-quality business advice services for social enterprises and charities across the UK.
The free programme aims to support community physical activity providers who want to develop their offer or idea, grow their reach or impact and become sustainable, resilient and well positioned to help Devon’s communities get active well into the future.
What Will the Workshop Cover?
The workshop delves into how diversifying your income streams can help you become more sustainable. We will cover things like securing contracts, charging fees, gaining donations, sponsorships, loans and setting up trading arms. We’ll also look at a range of grant funding options. We will share valuable tips and tricks that will help you find revenue and increase your chances of securing money to help you develop your work. At the end of the session, you will have a one-page plan to help you, and more awareness of the pros and cons of different types of income relevant for community groups.
Who is This Workshop For?
This workshop is open to anyone who provides physical activity opportunities within Devon including individuals, groups, clubs, charities and other community organisations.
