Movement for health and wellbeing is important because improved physical and mental wellbeing are two of the most significant benefits of physical activity.
The connections between inequality and poor health and wellbeing makes preventative, community focused approaches a priority. We aim to create closer connections between health, care and community systems, where the benefits of physical activity are understood and routinely used to improve people’s physical and mental wellbeing and tackle inequality.
