Movement in Later Life

Whilst inactivity and inequality exist across the life course, later life is an important age group. Helping people to age well by being active enables them to live a longer, healthier life.

We work with a network of partners and stakeholders to engage and impact older people and unite Devon through an understanding of the Live Longer Better principles and ways of working. Together, we can promote physical activity and movement to prevent, manage and reduce frailty, falls, dementia, and other long-term health conditions, plus, tackle isolation and inequalities. Click on the link buttons below to find out more or get in touch with the Later Life team. Movement in Later Life is one of our integrated themes that focus on our priorities within our Strategy – Devon Moving Together.
