
Andy Martin
Board Chair and Performance Sub-Committee Chair
Andy is currently the National Development Manager for the Football Association, having previously worked as part of the Legacy Team for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022. Prior to that he freelanced as an Education and Sport Programme Developer and Manager, with a range of clients including the Premier League, Rugby Football Union and numerous sports organisations at national and regional level. Previous roles have included the Rugby World Cup in 2015, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Youth Sport Trust and Sport England. Andy moved to Devon soon after graduating having been appointed as a Sport Development Officer for East Devon District Council and loved living in the county whilst his family grew up.
Andy’s key interest is in how sport and physical activity can transform the lives of young people and hopes to be able to use his experience to help Active Devon achieve its core vision.
