“This picture is of my two daughters Daisy and Poppy and their adventures in Devon. We moved down here to Dartmoor five years ago and it’s given my girls the most incredible free and wild childhood with their ponies that I don’t think they would have got living anywhere else. Due to having dogs, ponies and children, being outdoors and naturally healthy is a way of life for us, it keeps our bodies healthy but also our minds and I genuinely think Dartmoor air is good for the soul.
“I love the place in the picture as it was part of our new school run. I felt so grateful to live in such a beautiful place but also how much freedom it gave my children to enjoy their childhood. I felt like we are somewhere time slows down and I can enjoy the moments that previously had passed me by. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to enjoy and connect with the great outdoors in Devon and that’s what makes it such a magic place to live. You are never very far from moor, sea or beautiful countryside – pack a picnic, pick a direction and you’re set for an adventure.”

“My photo was taken at Hartland Abbey and Gardens. I was out with my camera and taking photos of the beautiful area in which I live. I love being naturally healthy because it keeps my mind clear and keeps me stress free. I love the place in the photo (Hartland Abbey and Gardens) because it is in the village where I live and it is so beautiful all year round.
“I always feel at peace when I’m there either walking through the woods or sitting on the beach. I would definitely recommend getting out and about in North Devon and seeing all the beautiful places that are here and accessible to us.”

“The photo is a selfie taken in the sea. My favourite way of keeping fit is to be out walking, hiking, running or swimming in the sea or rivers locally. I just love being outside, even in the winter! When I’m in the sea (or doing anything active outdoors) I feel more alive, I feel energised, and I feel inspired to go and be the best person I can be.
“Devon is one of the most beautiful places you can be for active, outdoor pursuits – it’s got such amazing, varied scenery, beautiful coastlines and moorlands, rolling hills and pretty villages. Something for everyone, in fact. I love living here and I wouldn’t choose anywhere else to be my home!”
