Exeter seminar in Applied Sport Science in Professional Rugby League

Presenter: Dr Vince Kelly

Dr Kelly is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science at the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences, University of Queensland. He also works as a Performance Science Consultant for the Brisbane Broncos Rugby League Club.

Vince is a leading sport scientist, with over 20 years experience working in elite sport, who is a member of the National Rugby League (NRL) Research Committee. He has also consulted to a number of sporting organisations including the International Rugby Board and Rugby Australia.

Topics will include cutting edge recovery modalities, recent developments in sleep research, hormonal responses to matches, seasonal changes in hamstring strength and more.
