My first event for charity was aged 10, when I ran 10 miles to raise money for Children in Need. The bug stuck! I am a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health with Human Biology. Since University, I have built up a broad range of experience, having worked within the Community Sports sector for 13 years. Prior to Active Devon, roles have included Managing the South West region for national charity Sported and 5 years within Local Authority Sports Development. I'm passionate about my work and specifically the difference that being active can make to peoples lives, don't you always feel better after a brisk walk or jog? In my own time I am a coach and Chairperson at Tavistock Triathlon Club, my happiest moments are when we are all competing together and everyone achieves their personal goals.
