I Joined the Active Devon Team in Plymouth as a Development Coordinator in June 2014, having completed 22 years service in the Royal Navy as a Physical Training Instructor in September 2013 I represented the Royal Navy at a variety of sports over the years and organised many different competitions. Football has always been my passion playing for many teams on my travels around the country.
I was very fortunate to be part of a great Victory Ceremonies Team for Football and Canoe Slalom at London 2012.
During 2013/14 I have completed a BSc (Hons) Degree in Coaching & Fitness Education at Marjons University and worked part time for Swim Cats teaching 3 to 13 year olds.
I have a taste for worldwide travel but also like to get out in the amazing Devon and Cornwall Countryside with my dog.

  • Responsible for planning, organising and delivering a portfolio of different active lifestyle initiatives.
  • Our principal colleague and the first point of contact for our work in South Hams and West Devon localities.




Part of my previous job involved steering Her Majesty’s finest Warship (HMS Manchester & HMS Albion)
