The Impact of the Together Fund in Devon Report

On behalf of all of the organisations, people and colleagues that were part of this work in Devon, we are proud to share our impact and learning report from the Sport England Together Fund in Devon.

About the Report

Sport England’s Together Fund (originally called the Tackling Inequalities Fund) was live from June 2020 until September 2023. The fund was set up as an emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was designed to prevent inequalities in activity levels from getting worse and to support community organisations who worked with people who needed the most help.

We have produced The Together Fund Impact in Devon report, for you to read through. It contains our approach, key learnings and impact, plus, our recommendations for future funding.

Hannah Worth, Director at Active Devon said:

“The aim of the report is to briefly share our experience and approach to managing this fund locally in Devon. Sport England has endorsed it and it really reflects how agile, innovative and unique this work has been.

The report highlights some of the successes, impact and learning. It also draws attention to some recommendations for ourselves, funders and partners, so collectively we can help reach and support more people to enjoy and benefit from active lifestyles.”
